Today the Pre-Intermediate class and their teacher went on a scavenger hunt down at the newly completed Wynyard Quarter which is a large park along the Auckland waterfront.
Students were given a list of new vocabulary and then split into teams.Their mission was to find all of the items on the list. Students looked for things like a drawbridge and a tram. 
The first team to find and photograph all of the items on the list was the winner.
It was also a really good chance for them to practice using English out of class as well as having some fun.
While they were there, they had a picnic and enjoyed the lovely weather.
